Your Rights as a Student
As a student with Deltawest Training (RTO 40599), you have rights and responsibilities under the Standards for Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) 2015 and applicable State and Commonwealth legislation.
Your Rights Include:
Be treated fairly and with respect by all staff and fellow students
Learn in a safe, supportive and inclusive environment
Receive clear information about your course, fees, and assessment requirements before enrolling
Access support services if you are having difficulty with your training
Have your personal information kept private and secure
Make a complaint or appeal without fear of negative treatment
Receive a Statement of Attainment or qualification if you meet the requirements
Your Responsibilities Include:
Treat all staff and fellow students with respect
Attend all scheduled training and assessment sessions
Submit assessments on time
Complete all enrolment paperwork honestly and accurately
Pay all fees by the due date
Maintain safe behaviour during training, particularly during on-road driving sessions
